RTE Admission 2024: Std. Free admission in 1 to 8 private schools, RTE admission process; When to fill the form

One of those schemes is RTE Admission. This scheme provides free education from class 1 to class 8 in private schools to students belonging to the weaker and underprivileged sections. When will the forms of RTE Admission 2024 be filled? RTE Document List and information required for RTE admission will be found in this post. According to the Right to Education Act 2009, free admission to private schools is given to students from weak and underprivileged groups in class 1.

  • When are the forms for RTE Admision filled?
  • Every year RTE admission forms are filled online. Which is usually filled online in the month of May. Under this scheme, free admission is given to students from weak and disadvantaged groups in 25% seats in class 1 in private schools. In which the students are given free study from class 1 to 8 as well as Rs.3000 per year as fee reimbursement from the government. From class 1 to 8, a student does not have to pay any fee in a private school. The government pays the fee to the private school on behalf of such students.







RTE Admission Form 2024

Forms for RTE admission are usually filled online in the month of April-May every year. RTE Admission Process is as follows.

  • First of all, the advertisement for RTE Admission Form 2024 is given in the newspapers from the Directorate of Primary Education.
  • It contains the dates for filling the form and the entire program of RTE Admission 2024.
  • Parents are given a few days to collect documents and upload new ones before the start of form filling.
  • After that online form has to be filled on the scheduled dates.
  • After that, the forms filled online by the parents at the district level and the documents uploaded are verified online.
  • Then from the state level priority and merit based school is allotted to the school which is selected based on merit.
  • Download the school allotment call letter online to take admission in the school where admission is available.

RTE Document List

The following documents are required to fill the RTE Admission Form 2024. And online documents have to be uploaded.

  • Proof of Residence: Copy of Aadhaar Card / Passport / Electricity Bill / Water Bill / Election Card / Ration Card has to be uploaded online as proof of residence. If there is no evidence of this then a registered tenancy agreement is required.
  • Caste instance: Caste certificate of guardian in applicable case has to be uploaded by competent authority.
  • Birth Certificate: Child's birth certificate has to be uploaded online.
  • Student Photograph: A recent passport size photograph of the student has to be uploaded online.
  • Income Certificate: Income certificate from Mamlatdar or Taluka Development Officer will be accepted. At the village level, the income pattern given by the Talati of the e-Gram Panchayat will be considered valid and that dt. Only after 01/04/2019 will be considered valid.
  • BPL: Guardians belonging to BPL category ranging from 0 to 20 marks have to submit the instance of Taluka Development Officer or Director, District Village Development Agency for rural area while for urban area the instance of Deputy Municipal Commissioner or competent authority authorized by the Municipal Corporation has to be uploaded online. .

Things to keep in mind while filling the form

  • Special care should be taken while filling the RTE admission form online. Because the form may be rejected due to mistakes in filling the form or insufficiency of documents. The following points should be kept in mind while filling the form.
  • All details of student and guardian should be submitted very carefully while filling the form.
  • The original document to be uploaded should be scanned and uploaded in the specified size clearly legible.
  • Make sure that only the requested documents are uploaded specifically.
  • Special care should be taken while selecting a school. Arrange the schools in order of preference. After getting admission in a school, this school does not change, so select the school in which you want to take admission.
