Ticket rates have been fixed for tourists to visit Junagadh Uparkot Fort. In which the ticket rates have been fixed at 100 rupees for a person above 12 years of age, 50 rupees for a child below 12 years of age, and 500 rupees for a tourist coming from abroad.
The light and sound show started in the fort of Uparkot is being liked very much by the people. And while people are eager to see it, the ticket rates have been fixed separately. In which the ticket rate for children below 12 years of age is 75 rupees, 150 rupees for persons above 12 years of age and 500 rupees for foreign tourists. However, local Junagadh residents have been given 50% concession in ticket rates.
After renovation at a cost of 74 crores, the historic Upper Kot fort has been opened to the public. It is worth mentioning that since 3 years the renovation work of the fort of Uparkot was kept closed. Which is now open to the public.
