NROER Is A Repository Of Digital Knowledge

NROER is a repository of digital knowledge where digital content is made available to schools of all levels in every language recognized by the nation. NROER is working to bring together all types of digital resources such as audio, video, image, document, interactive media etc. in one place.

At NROER, teachers can upload teaching materials, use the available materials, give their own ideas and results of innovative experiments on it as well as give feedback. NROER is a project to provide complete e-content for the country. Efforts are being made to provide e-form of all literature and resources related to education during this project.

As content is technology based, it is constantly evolving, as is technology. However, at present NROER is working to store the resources for teaching studies under the following sections. NROER consists of sections like (1) Theme (2) E-Library (3) E-Books (4) E-Course (4) Events. (1) Various topics of the national curriculum are covered under the theme section.

Various themes have been included. More topics are added to this section from time to time. Each of these topics covers topics related to different units. The units of each subject are divided into its sub-units. This includes an understanding of each of the sub-units, the activity related to it and everything else that helps to explain the unit.

In short, an attempt has been made to provide a systematic study-teaching envelope-like material for each unit. (2) E-Library This section satisfies the need of a rich library and this library is getting more and more rich. Some sections have been provided in the e-library as part of the arrangement.

These sections include sections such as (1) Documents (2) Interactives (3) Audio (3) Image (4) Video. (2) E-Books All the books of NCERT have been uploaded under E-Books section. This section is a great source for reference books and textbooks. (2) E-Course Under E-Course, standard wise, each subject wise syllabus can be made available.

Teachers from different parts of the country can join as tutors. Online learning can be made possible by registering in the e-course and working as a student and teacher. (2) Events This section will showcase the work done by teachers and children in schools. This option can hold photographs, audio, video and other records related to children's work.
