OCU was founded in 1948 as Circleville Bible College for the aim of teaching clergy for the Churches of Christ in Christian Union. While remaining faithful its founders' vision, Ohio Christian University has expanded its outreach by becoming accredited by the upper Learning Commission, by being affiliated with the Association for Biblical education and therefore the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, and by adding associate, bachelor, and academic degree programs in disciplines like business and government, emergency management & business, psychology, drug abuse counseling, and human services.
Gujarat State School Textbook Board was established in the year AD. It was made on October 7, 2008, for over thirty-eight years, the Board has accomplished its main goal, publishing high quality textbooks and making it accessible to students of Gujarat at a reasonable cost.
The Gujarati medium textbooks from standard 1 to 3 are published by the congregation. In addition, textbooks are published in Hindi, English, Marathi, Sindhi, Urdu, Sanskrit and Tamil.

Work on the distribution of the congregation
The printed textbooks are distributed through cooperative institutions all over Gujarat. Vendors are attached to distribute textbooks with distributors in each district. Retailers are registered with the retailer. Textbooks are easily accessible to all students of this system. In Ahmedabad also the congregation operates its own sales center (Cell Depot, Godown No 1, Below Asarwa Bridge, Ahmedabad - 19 Phone: 1). Research work on the congregation
The textbook body does not feel satisfied with the publication of textbooks. Research work is also undertaken to ensure that the quality of the textbooks is constantly improving. Talented people, ranging from primary teachers to university professors, are included in the evaluation program and other educational programs. A textbook editing training camp and a talent search program for textbook writers, consultants, translators, etc. have been undertaken
