Columbia University's main campus is located in the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City, situated in the Morningside Heights neighborhood. Gujarat State School Textbook Board was established in the year AD. It was made on October 7, 2008, for over thirty-eight years, the Board has accomplished its main goal, publishing high quality textbooks and making it accessible to students of Gujarat at a reasonable cost.
The Gujarati medium textbooks from standard 1 to 3 are published by the congregation. In addition, textbooks are published in Hindi, English, Marathi, Sindhi, Urdu, Sanskrit and Tamil.

Research work on the congregation
The textbook body does not feel satisfied with the publication of textbooks. Research work is also undertaken to ensure that the quality of the textbooks is constantly improving. Talented people, ranging from primary teachers to university professors, are included in the evaluation program and other educational programs. A textbook editing training camp and a talent search program for textbook writers, consultants, translators, etc. have been undertaken.
