UIDAI has released new guidelines for this. In fact, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has recently released a guide on children's Aadhaar cards, called Bal Aadhaar. According to the new guidelines issued by the UIDAI authority, it is mandatory to update the biometric details i.e. finger in the Aadhaar data of children aged five to fifteen years. Recently UIDAI tweeted information that updating biometric details of children aged 5-15 years is mandatory and the process to do so is completely free. That means no charge has to be paid for this update. There will be no change in child's Aadhaar number after updating biometrics. Therefore, the Aadhaar Card Authority has instructed the parents to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra to fill the form and update the children's biometric data.

Child Aadhaar Card Update
Step-1:To update Bal Aadhaar first you have to open the official website of UIDAI uidai.gov.in.
Then click on Aadhaar Card Registration option in this website. Mandatory information like child's name, guardian's phone number and other necessary biometric information related to the child and his parents have to be filled in it. After address, state and other details have to be filled. Check all the details properly and then submit. Next click on appointment option.
Step-2:
In the next step you have to upload documents like identity proof, address proof, date of birth and reference number.
The Aadhaar Executive will then carry out further processing and you will be given a reference number to track the application process. Aadhaar card will be received by post at your registered address within 60 days.

- બાલ આધાર અપડેટ કરવા માટે સૌ પ્રથમ તમારે UIDAI ની ઓફીસીયલ વેબસાઇટ uidai.gov.in ઓપન કરવાની રહેશે.
- ત્યારબાદ આ વેબસાઇટમા આધાર કાર્ડ રજિસ્ટ્રેશન ઓપ્શન પર ક્લિક કરો. તેમા બાળકનું નામ, વાલીનો ફોન નંબર અને બાળક અને તેના માતાપિતાને લગતી અન્ય જરૂરી બાયોમેટ્રિક માહિતી જેવી ફરજિયાત માહિતી ભરવાની રહેશે. સરનામા પછી, રાજ્ય અને અન્ય વિગતો ભરવાની રહેશે. બધી વિગતો વ્યવસ્થિત ચેક કરીને પછી સબમિટ કરો. આગળ એપોઇન્ટમેન્ટ ઓપ્શન પર ક્લિક કરો.
સ્ટેપ-2:
આગળના સ્ટેપમા તમારે ઓળખનો પુરાવો, સરનામાનો પુરાવો, જન્મ તારીખ અને સંદર્ભ નંબર જેવા ડોકયુમેન્ટ અપલોડ કરવાના રહેશે.
ત્યારબાદ આધાર એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ આગળની પ્રક્રિયા હાથ ધરશે અને અરજી પ્રક્રિયાને ટ્રેક કરવા માટે તમને એક રેફરન્સ નંબર આપવામા આવશે. આધાર કાર્ડ 60 દિવસની અંદર તમારા રજીસ્ટર્ડ સરનામા પર પોસ્ટ દ્વારા મળી જશે.
સ્ટેપ-3:
બાળકના આધાર કાર્ડમાં બાળકનું બાયોમેટ્રિક અપડેટ કરવા uidai.gov વેબસાઇટ ઓપન કરો. અને તમારા બાળકોના આધાર કાર્ડની વિગતો અપડેટ કરવા માટે નજીકના આધાર કેંદ્ર ની એપોઇન્ટમેન્ટ બુક કરો. સરકારની વિવિધ કલ્યાણકારી યોજનાઓ અને લાભો મેળવવા માટે આ કાર્ડ ખૂબ જ જરુરી છે.
તમારા બાળકોનુ આધાર કાર્ડ કઢાવયા બાદ જો તેમી બાયોમેટ્રીક વિગતો અપડેટ ન કરી હોય તો નિયત સમયે આધાર સેન્ટર પર જઇને આ વિગતો અપડેટ કરાવવી જોઇએ. જો તમારા બાળકો નુ પણ બાલ આધાર હોય તો તમારા બાળકોની ઉંમર ૫ વર્ષ અને 15 વર્ષ થાય ત્યારે આ બાલ આધાર અપડેટ કરાવવુ જરૂરી છે.
