PM Suryoday Yojana: PM Suryoday Yojana: Details of the Prime Minister Suryodaya Yojana announced by the Central Government are slowly coming up. According to the information now, under this scheme, people will now be given more subsidies from the government to install solar panels on the roof of their home. People can now install solar panels on the roof of their house without spending a single rupee and generate electricity.

Union Minister for Prime Minister Sunrise Scheme RK Singh. Information said that under this new scheme, more subsidies will be provided to the people to install solar panels on the roof of their house. The Union Minister had stated that earlier people were given 40 percent subsidy for installing solar panels on their roof. But under the Prime Minister's Sunrise Scheme, he will now be given 60 % subsidy. People can take 40 % of the remaining amount as a loan.

The purpose of the government to launch this scheme is to make the economically weaker people take the maximum benefit of the scheme. Under this scheme, the government has set a target of installing solar panels under the scheme on the roof of one crore houses. The government wants to increase the subsidy, that the maximum number of people can take a loan without investing and install a solar panel on their home by taking advantage of the scheme. The benefit of this scheme will be given to those who have less than 300 units of power consumption per month.



PM Sunrise Scheme
Under this scheme, if a person wants to get a loan, there is no extra financial burden on them. The government is becoming a special purpose vehicle to implement the scheme. A separate SPV will be created for each state. In addition to the 60 per cent subsidy provided by the government, the remaining 40 per cent can be taken as a loan from SPV.

The solar panel mounted on the roof of the house will be purchased by the SPV by the electricity generated by the need. And that will pay the loan. According to one estimate, the loan will be repaid in 10 years and after the loan is repaid, the solar panel property will be transferred to the name of the property beneficiary.

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the PM Suryodaya Yojana last month after the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Subsequently, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave more information about the scheme, presenting the budget on February 1 in the Lok Sabha. A provision of Rs 10,000 crore has been made for this scheme in the budget. In his budget speech, the finance minister said that with this scheme, people will be able to save up to Rs 10,000 to 18 thousand annually.
