Shrimad Bhagavad Gita: An important decision has been taken by the Education Department of the State Government on the occasion of Gita Jayanti. Now Horan will be taught from 6th to 12th Srimad Bhagavad Gita as a subject. Along with education, this important decision has been taken by the state government to inculcate culture in the students. Srimad Bhagavad Gita is included as a subject. It will be implemented from the new academic session starting June 2024.

In the first phase, classes 6 to 8 will be covered. The government has taken this important decision on the day of Gita Jayanti itself. Srimad Bhagavad Gita has been included in the curriculum by taking this decision for the purpose of inculcating rites along with education in the next generation. The government has described many benefits to the students from studying the Bhagavad Gita. Students will be given an understanding of Bhagavad Gita in simple language.
The school will impart Gita knowledge
Lessons from the Gita are included in the syllabus of class 6 to 12. A new book was released. The state education department has prepared this book. In the book, the mantras of Gita and their translation in Gujarati are given in simple language. A pictorial presentation has also been made. Gita lessons will be taught in the school from the new session of 2024. Illustrated detail is also provided in the book.

What did the education minister say?
The book prepared in the syllabus of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was released by the Minister of Education of the state.
