29th September to 14th October: Shraddha Paksha – Pitru Paksha: In Shraddha, people are involved in performing activities like Pitru Tarpan, Pind Daan, donation to the poor for the salvation of their ancestors. ,
- 14 October 2023 (Saturday): All Pitru Amas: Pitru Paksha ends on the new moon day of Ashwin month. Apart from this, a solar eclipse will also occur on this day. There is also Mahalaya on this day.
- 15 October 2023 (Sunday): Navratri begins: First Naurutu: Navratri begins, on this day Kalash is installed in Durga temples and homes.
- 15th October to 23rd October: 9 days are Navratri. People come to villages and cities to worship Mother Goddess.
- 22 October 2023 (Sunday): This day is Maha Ashtami of Sharadiya Navratri. Which is also called Havanashtami.

- 28 October 2023 (Saturday): The full moon celebrated in the month of Ashwin is called Sharad Purnima. On the day of Sharad Purnima, cucumber and milk powder are prepared and kept in the open sky at night, so that it acquires the quality of nectar.
