As an answer to all these problems, the central government is bringing a rule or law which gives freedom to use birth certificate in all important jobs.

This birth certificate law was introduced by the MP in the last monsoon session which has been approved by the President of the country on August 11. This new law is going to be implemented from 1 October 2023. Which will make the birth certificate a document for admission to schools and colleges, issuance of driving license, creation of Aadhaar card, creation of passport, and marriage registration.
What will be the benefit?
This law will save people's time first. The Act will facilitate digital registration and electronic distribution of birth and death documents to create a national and state level database of registered births and deaths. This will make it easier to update the rest of the database. This will give accurate information about the birth and death of people.
Starting from 1 October, 2023, the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Act, 2023 will be in effect:

Apart from this, it will be easy for people to get various government services. The government is making the birth certificate service compulsory. So that there is no problem in getting this certificate.

The law will facilitate the process
The Act also provides for facilitating the registration of the child of adopted, orphaned, abandoned, soul surrendered, surrogate child, single parent, or premarital mother. Certificate of cause of death will be made mandatory in all hospital establishments to the registrar. This would facilitate speedy registration and issuing of death or issuance of certificate in case of dire epidemic.
