This fruit is available in the market for only 20 days. In the wholesale market of Karoli, the price of Babu Pocha is Rs 70 per kg, while the retail price of Babu Pocha is running at Rs 80 per kg.

Ayurvedic physician Dr. Umesh Sharma says that this fruit (Babu Pocha) instead of pear is very beneficial for the body. It is rich in fiber. It is very beneficial in constipation and improves digestion.
