According to the information, the Rai government is going to bring a bill in this regard in the assembly session. The Family Identity Card Act Bill will be passed in the Gujarat Assembly session. Provision will be made in the Act to make a special identity card for all families. A feature of this card will be the data of all the members of his family. 8 digit family ID will be provided. Through which the identity of the family members will be found. The main objective of this bill is to solve the problem of people getting different certificates at different times.
The family identity card that will be issued by the Gujarat government in the near future will bring many benefits to the people. This family identity card will be linked with recorders of births, deaths and marriages. So that automatic update of data is ensured whenever such events occur in life. The family identity card will link various schemes like scholarships, subsidies and pensions. So as to ensure consistency and reliability and enable automatic selection of beneficiaries of various schemes, subsidies and pensions. The Family Identity Card database will be automatically queried. Once the database of families is ready, the families will be able to avail the benefits under each individual scheme.
Once the database of families is prepared, families need not apply for benefits under each individual scheme. Further, once the data is uploaded in the database, there may be a provision in the Act that no further documents need to be submitted by the beneficiary. This type of card has been implemented earlier in Haryana and Kerala. Now this scheme will be implemented in Gujarat, the third state of India.
