Sports Aptitude Test (SAT) – 2023||Primary School,Higher secondary School

 Board, Gandhinagar publishes notification regarding the conduct of “Sports Aptitude Test (SAT) - 2023” for the prescribed eligibility candidates for the appointment of Sports Assistant in Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools. The conduct of this examination is decided under the management of the State Examination Board. It will be done through the District Education Officers in the affected districts.

Educational Qualification:

By original resolution to seek appointment of sports assistants in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools Only candidates fulfilling the prescribed educational qualification and other conditions provided for “Sports Aptitude Test (X)” can be present in The original resolution prescribed the following educational qualifications for appearing in the Sadar examination has been done.
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and C.P.Ed. /D.P.Ed. / B.P.Ed,
BA into yoga
B.Sc. in Yogn
B.PE.

Age Limit:

The age limit prescribed by the original resolution for the appointment of sports assistant in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools is 35 years or below 35 years.

Educational qualification as well as age limit details will be verified by Recruitment Selection Committee and


The decision of the recruitment selection committee will be final. The State Examination Board will give an opportunity to appear in the examination to all candidates who have paid the fee. Therefore, passing the examination cannot be claimed to qualify for recruitment. Regarding this


The decision taken by the recruitment committee of the office will be final.

Note:

The procedure of this examination and the rest of the instructions before the examination may be referred to from time to time resolutions, instructions etc. of the Government shall be subject to provisions.
Sports Aptitude Test Structure and Syllabus;

A. Test Structure:

  • Sports Aptitude Test will be of Multiple Choice Question Based – MCQs format. Each question a will be of merit. There will be four options given in the answer to each question. The correct option has to be selected from them. - There will be no negative marking in the evaluation of this test.
There will be a total of 100 questions on various objectives and the time will be 90 minutes. - All sections and all their questions will be compulsory.


There will be one paper for all sections.
Note: The structure of this exam, exam pattern and other instructions before the exam from time to time of Govt.


Subject to resolutions, instructions and provisions.

B. Syllabus of Examination:

  • Knowledge Based Questions related to Sports : (70 Questions) (70 Marks)
  • Questions related to physical and mental development, yoga, physical education and sports, knowledge of rules regarding those sports, questions related to state, national and international sports competitions.

Principles of Child Development & Pedagogy : (20 Questions) (20 Marks)

A section on theories of child development and education, educational questions related to learning and teaching, will be based in psychology. Thought-provoking content related questions will be asked in the test to assess the candidate's conceptual milking process, to know his concepts of strong interaction with the student, how is the content preparedness for child-centered teaching, practical questions (Applied Questions) to be properly evaluated


General knowledge, knowledge of current trends: (10 questions) (10 marks)
General knowledge, knowledge of current trends and Reasoning Ability, Logical Ability. Teacher Aptitude,


Matters like Data Interpretation will also be included. The difficulty of this exam will be graduation level.


The above syllabus of this test will be based on Textbook Mandal Class 6th to 12th Yoga Health and Physical Education Textbooks, and Yoga Health and Physical Education Vocational Qualification Syllabus.
• A minimum of 50% (50 marks) in this test will be considered pass.

Exam Fee:

- For candidates of SC, ST SEBC, PI, EWS category the examination fee is 250/- (two hundred and fifty whole) while for general category candidates the examination fee is 350/- (three hundred and fifty whole). Apart from this, the service charge will be separate.

Fees paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Fee Payment Method:

Candidates can pay the exam fee from ATM CARDNET BANKING through online payment gateway. Click on “Print Application/Pay Fees” and fill the details to deposit the fee online. After that click on “Online Payment”. Then select the appropriate option from the options of “Net Banking of fee” or “other Payment Moder” in the given options and fill the further details. After depositing the fee, it will be written on the screen that your fee has been deposited. And you will get e-receipt which should be printed. If any in the process

If there is a defect, it will appear on the screen that your fee has not been paid.


Candidates who have paid the fee online, if the fee e-receipt has not been generated after deducting the fee amount from their bank account, then such candidates should immediately contact the State Examination Board through e-mail (gseb21{@gmail.com).

Examination Center:

The test examination centers will be decided by the State Examination Board according to the number of candidates registered for the examination and examination-oriented administrative convenience. The candidate has to appear for the examination at the examination center allotted by the board at his/her own expense.

Medium of Question Paper:

As prescribed in the Education Department, Secretariat, Gandhinagar Resolution No: PRE-112023-Prashini-28-K (Part), dated: 10/07/2023, this test will be conducted in three mediums namely Gujarati, English and Hindi. (A copy of the resolution is enclosed herewith.)

To fill the application form in the medium in which the candidate is qualified to take the examination will be A candidate can appear in any one medium.

The application form for this test is filled online by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar and J Chairman, State Examination Board will take the decision to cancel the result of such candidate if the details of the information sought by the candidate have been concealed by the candidate or if the information has been given wrongly, - The candidate has to give a certificate online that the details filled in the form are correct if any wrong details. If he submits, his form will be liable to be canceled and a criminal offense will be committed against him. Verification of personal information, educational qualification, experience and other details by recruitment selection committee will be done and the decision of the recruitment selection committee in this regard will be final.


Caste certificate from competent authority is required in case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Caste Certificate of Socially and Educationally Backward Class from the Competent Authority designated by the State Government for Socially and Educationally Backward Class Candidates and Social Justice and Empowerment Department for Socially and Educationally Backward Class Resolution No: SSP/122015/4552465 dated: 26/04/2016 and A non-criminal certificate (non-criminal certificate) should be obtained from the competent authority as per the resolution from time to time in this regard.


In case of physical handicap (Physically Handicap) having a certificate from the competent authority designated by the state government is necessary.


Eligibility certificate for reservation of economically weaker sections (Economically Weaker Sections) Resolution No. EWS/122019/45903/A dated: 25/01/2019 of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and in this regard as per the resolution from time to time of the competent authority. Eligibility Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections” should be obtained.


The candidate takes a printout of the form filled online on the website and signs the form with the necessary documents such as pay slip copy of examination fee payment, caste certificate, non-criminal certificate and physical handicap certificate as applicable to the candidate. Falling supports should be kept with oneself. When a need arises, the candidate has to present it.


The candidate who has received the receipt of the pay slip of the prescribed examination fee can only computerize his/her hall ticket.

Candidates should study the instructions given below in detail after downloading the hall ticket. The sample OMR sheet given at the time of examination along with the hall ticket will also be placed on the website. It is very important to study all the instructions printed on this sample OMR sheet in detail. So at exam time No confusion should arise.


A minimum of 50% (50 marks) in this test will be considered pass. Only those candidates who pass this test will be awarded the certificate with multiplication by the board.
