The objective of this portal is to facilitate the refund process for genuine depositors in four co-operative societies owned by Sahara Group, namely Sahara Credit Cooperative Society, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society, STARS Multipurpose, and Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society.
The primary objective of the CRCS-Portal is to ensure a transparent and efficient process for the refund of depositors’ money. 5000 crores and will ensure that the Sahara refund portal is working transparently.
After the successful winding up of this amount, the government is planning to file another appeal in the Supreme Court to return the remaining amount to other investors. In this article, we are going to give information about the process and eligibility, etc. to get a refund from this Portal.

The portal aims to provide prompt refunds to genuine investors. 10,000 will be given to one crore investors who deposit Rs. 10,000 or more to cooperative societies.

How to Apply for Sahara Refund Portal?
- Follow the steps given below to apply on the Refund Portal to get a refund of your investment.First, complete the registration by entering your personal information for the application.
- Now log in using the login credentials.
- Accept all terms and conditions by clicking the button I Agree.
- Enter your Aadhaar Number and click Get OTP. Verify the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked Mobile Number.
- The system will display your Aadhaar user details, including Name, Date of Birth, and Father/Husband Name.
- Click on the add claim button to enter claim details. You can add multiple claim details if applicable.
- Once all the claim details are entered, generate the Claim Request Form. Review all claims for accuracy, as changes cannot be made afterward.
- Upload the Claim Form and PAN Card copy (mandatory for claim amounts of Rs. 50,000 or above) as per the specified size limits.
- Submit the application form and save it.

Union Minister Shah has announced that the Sahara Portal will provide the first payment of up to Rs. 10,000 to one crore investors who have contributed Rs. 10,000 or more through the platform. Once the initial payment of Rs. 5,000 crore has been successfully disbursed, another appeal will be made to the Supreme Court to seek the return of the remaining amount to the rest of the investors.
