As per the letter of the Minister, AYUSH, Government of India dated 12/10/2021, Y * Break Protocol application has been created to enhance the efficiency of the employees in the workplace, to relieve stress, to refresh and refocus the work and all of the State Government The offices have been directed to follow the initiative of the Government of India. With this application healthy life of general public can be accelerated and they can be made aware about yoga. In this regard, you and the officers / employees of your subordinate office and teachers of all the primary schools under your jurisdiction are asked to give necessary instructions in this regard.
Minister of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sova-Rigpa, Homeopathy (AYUSH) and Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, Sarvanand Sonowal Azadita Amirit Mahotsav -I am writing about a break protocol which is a yoga protocol which includes many useful yoga practices designed to relieve stress, refresh and increase the productivity of individuals in the workplace. The concept of "yoga break" (Y-break) is relevant to professionals working around the world. It has been carefully developed by renowned experts and is a well-tested protocol. The module was launched in January 2020 in 6 major metro cities on a pilot project in coordination with various stakeholders. A total of 15 days trial was conducted by Morarji Desai National Yoga Institute (MDNIY) in collaboration with six leading yoga institutes of the country, in which a total of 717 participants from various private and government institutions participated and the trial was very successful. The Y-break app was formally launched on September 1, 2021 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi in the presence of five Union Ministers as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. The response to the protocol has been very encouraging. A mobile based version for easy access has been developed to make it popular from a health point of view. The Ministry of AYUSH seeks to popularize it among health workers / officers / employees across the country and draws their attention to its usefulness from the point of view of health and productivity. This intervention could lead to a wider spread and widespread campaign of Y-break protocols across the country. It is available on the Google Play Store, the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) of the Government of India has issued instructions to employees.
