◆ Insurance cover by the state government to widow beneficiaries
1. An insurance cover of Rs. 1,00,000 / - has been made available to the beneficiaries of the scheme free of cost under the group insurance scheme of the State Government from 1-4-2008.
2. Under this Accident Group Insurance Scheme, the benefit of this scheme will be available in case of death of the beneficiary due to accident or permanent disability due to accident.
3. To get the benefit under this accident group insurance scheme, one has to contact the office of the District Social Security Officer.
Rehabilitation of destitute widowed sisters through training:
Under the scheme of financial assistance for the rehabilitation of destitute widows by the Women and Child Welfare Department of the State Government, efforts are being made to provide self-employment training to the beneficiaries between the ages of 18 to 30 years, make them self reliant and rehabilitate them. Widow beneficiaries between the ages of 1, 18 to 30 years can avail the benefits of this scheme.
2. The destitute widow should be receiving assistance under the assistance scheme.
3. Short-term self-employment training will be required to successfully complete the trade.

◆નિરાધાર વિધવા બહેનોને તાલીમ દ્વારા પુનઃસ્થાપન કરવાની યોજના :
રાજ્ય સરકારના મહિલા અને બાળ કલ્યાણ વિભાગ દ્વારા નિરાધાર વિધવાઓના પુનઃસ્થાપન માટે આર્થિક સહાયની યોજના હેઠળ ૧૮ થી ૪૦ વર્ષની ઉંમરના લાભાર્થીઓને સ્વરોજગારલક્ષી તાલીમ આપી, સ્વનિર્ભર બનાવી, પુનઃ સ્થાપન કરવાના પ્રયત્નો કરવામાં આવે છે. લાભ કોને મળી
શકે ?
1, ૧૮ થી ૪૦ વર્ષની ઉંમરની વિધવા લાભાર્થીઓને આ યોજનાનો લાભ મળી શકે.
2. નિરાધાર વિધવા સહાય યોજના હેઠળ સહાય મેળવતા હોવા જોઈએ.
3. ટૂંકાગાળાનો સ્વરોજગારલક્ષી તાલીમ ટ્રેડ સફળતા પૂર્વકનો પૂર્ણ કરવાનો રહેશે.
4. સફળતાપૂર્વક તાલીમ પૂર્ણ કરતાં સાધન સહાયની કીટ રૂ. ૫૦૦૦/- ની મર્યાદામાં આપવામાં આવશે. તાલીમ મેળવવા ક્યાં સંપર્ક કરવો?
◆ તાલીમ માટે ક્યાં સંપર્ક કરવો?
18 થી 40 વર્ષની વયના લાભાર્થીઓ કે જેઓ વિધવા સહાય મેળવે છે અને વિધવાઓ કે જેમને સહાય નથી મળી રહી છે, તેઓએ તાલીમ માટે જિલ્લા દહેજ પ્રતિબંધ અધિકારીની કચેરીનો સંપર્ક કરવો જોઇએ.
