We envisage to develop student database (SDMIS) which with over 260 million students from Grade 1st to 12th would be the largest such systems across the World. The system will keep record of academic journey of every student studying in about 1.5 million Government and Private schools in India.
Implementation Plan for Aadhaar Enabled DISE-Child Tracking Intitative The UIDAI's concept adopted to build database of students and to provide unique identification number to all the students in the schools. As District Information System for Education (DISE) covers only figures of enrollment, this system covering child wise entry is named as "Aadhaar Enabled DISE". The main objective of this application is to make it easy to find any student studying in Gujarat using his/her Unique Identification Number by maintaining database of every school. This system will make tracking of students easy There are system generated 18 Digits unique Id Number for every child to track child throughout his academic career. It has been specially designed & developed by SSA-MIS Department-Gujarat for the (GOG) government and thus lends a helping hand in
Steps Dise Form of Online Entry
- Open this website http://ssa-elb-spoc-823717838.ap-south-1.elb.amazonaws.com/ssachildtracking/ctelogin.aspx for child tracking
- write your School Dise Code and School Password for Log In

Now Click on Manage School and Click on Standard 1 for new entry of Standard 1.
- After Clicking on Manage School new window opened. then click on Number ⓵ . Then write standard 1 child name, Father Name, Mother name , Surname, Birthdate and CWSN Detail and click on Add
- When you are click on Add button opening new window of 40 collumas . fill all date and child add process is over.
Gujarat State implemented Aadhaar Enabled DISE – Child Tracking System for collection of Student-wise information for Elementary Schooling of Class I – VIII since January 2012.
Aadhaar Enabled DISE is deployed with a concept adopted from UIDAI to build database of students along with child wise record with Student Name, Parents Name, Date of Birth, Address, incentives & benefits received from Government. The same database use by State to conduct child wise evaluation under Gunotsav program. Each year, existing records are being updated and new entrants in Class I are being entered under the system.

Dropout of children from schools, their absenteeism, performance of government schools and its teachers have a sledgehammer impact on primary education in various states, including Gujarat that is not known to have an impressive track record. But, things seem to be changing in Gujarat.
