Lockdown extended to June 30, guidelines released, find out what will open, what will close


The government has issued guidelines for Lockdown 5. Named UNLOCK 1. Accordingly, the government has given phased concessions outside the containment zone. The containment zone will have a lockdown till June 30 and only the required services will be able to continue. The guidelines for phased out services in areas other than that are as follows-


The first phaseReligious places, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls will be allowed to open from June 8. In this regard, the Ministry of Health will announce standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with social discrimination.




The second phaseSchools-colleges, educational institutes, coaching institutes etc. will be opened after discussion with the States and Union Territories. State governments have been asked to discuss the matter with institutions as well as parents. The standard operating procedure will also be announced.

The third phaseSome activity will still be off. These include international flights, metro railways, cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, amusement parks, theaters, bars, auditoriums, political and social events, and large gatherings. Approval will be informed in the third phase after assessing the situation.



This will be Lockdown 5.0, these 11 cities will strictly follow the rules of Corona
