The number of coronaviruses in the country has risen to 23,234 and 725 people have died. On Friday, 58 cases were reported in West Bengal, 36 in Rajasthan and one in Orissa. These figures are based on information received from covid19india.org and the state government. According to the Union Ministry of Health, the number of infected people in the country is 23077. Of these, 17,160 are undergoing treatment, 4,749 have recovered and 718 have died.

The central team will come to Ahmedabad and Surat to review the situation


So far 1654 positive cases of corona have been reported in Ahmedabad city and district which has become the hotspot of corona. In the last 24 hours, 151 positive cases have been reported and 7 patients have died. While in Surat 456 cases and 13 patients have died. Following which a central team will come to review the situation in Ahmedabad and Surat.

According to the Union Health Ministry, corona cases in the country are currently doubling in 10 days. At present, cases of corona are doubling every 7 days in Ahmedabad. As well as Ahmedabad, Surat is also witnessing a huge surge in positive cases. The situation in these two cities is getting dire. Thus, the central government has also become serious as cases are being doubled in the country in 10 days and in Ahmedabad in 7 days. Ahmedabad's doubling rate is lower than the rest of the country. That is an increase of 46.52% in 5 days.
