Principal Secretary Health Department Dr. Jayanti Ravi informed the Corona virus about the media. The number of positive corona cases is 69 in the state. Six of them were killed. Two patients have recovered after beating Corona and have been discharged and sent home. While hospitalized, two patients were still kept on ventilator. In Corona-positive cases in Gujarat, 32 people have foreign travel history, 4 are inter-state cases, while half are cases - 33% are local transmission cases. Children and patients suffering from thalassemia will receive blood from Red Cross. People will also be able to help with blood.

Some precautionary decisions with precautionary and precautionary measures in Gujarat against Corona virus
The Government of India has decided to declare a lockdown across the country till midnight, taking into account the current situation of the Corona virus. Under which the state government is taking necessary action and people are not being harassed. The Chief Minister then instructed that children and patients suffering from thalassemia and other hemoglobinopathy in this situation should not be disturbed, with the help of Indian Red Cross, to ensure that all the patients at the government hospitals located in the district and taluka are being provided necessary arrangements.
Various districts have been allocated to senior IAS officers for monitoring the work done on corona virus prevention. A total of 13 districts have been allotted to JP Gupta, Chief Rajyasik Commissioner to Saurashtra and North Gujarat, and Mukesh Kumar, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Maritime Board.
The current situation in the state in which the local transmission is currently being observed. In view of this, the state government has decided to undertake intensive surveillance operations. Which will be closely monitored by the Commissioner (s). Surveillance will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India in the Containment Zone and Buffer Zone surrounding the patients found positive.
Persons regularly seeking help and obtaining information on the helpline number-104 of the State Government. So far, there have been more than 24,3 such calls when the helpline details the symptoms and if such persons are being provided necessary treatment under supervision. Out of these, 450 persons have been provided treatment in this way.
Isolation wards have been started with advanced equipment including ventilators. At present, there are over 4300 isolation beds available in Government hospitals in the state. And 635 bed arrangements are available at private hospitals. In addition, more bed-raising arrangements are in progress.
There are 5 ventilators available in government departments in all departments for the treatment of serious patients in the state. And there are an estimated 5 ventilators available in private institutions.
Dr.TeCHO Application has been launched by the Department of Health and Family Welfare to get immediate information of SARI cases from all the hospitals and doctors of the state.
In the event of transmission of existing Novel Corona Virus (Covid-19) in the state, a special procurement committee has been constituted by the State Government for the immediate availability of all medicines, equipment, manpower and any other essential items, services required.
