"A good quality education is one that provides all learners with capabilities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihoods, contribute to peaceful and democratic societies and enhance individual well-being.
Quality in education. Access to education is important, but just as important is actually learning basic knowledge and skills in the classroom. Many children across the world cannot read, despite of having attended school for several years. High-quality education is a prerequisite for learning and human development.
Academic quality is a way of describing how well the learning opportunities available to students help them to achieve their award. It is about making sure that appropriate and effective teaching, support, assessment and learning opportunities are provided for them
Quality education includes: Learners who are healthy, well-nourished and ready to participate and learn, and supported in learning by their families and communities; ... Outcomes that encompass knowledge, skills and attitudes, and are linked to national goals for education and positive participation in society
