THE SUN
The sun is the star in the solar system. It rises
in the east at dawn. It sets in the west in the evening. It is the source of
all energy in the earth. The earth moves round the sun. We get sunlight that
gives us Vitamin D. It is very much essential for living beings. It looks so
much brighter than the other stars because it's much closer. The Sun is huge.
If an airplane could fly on the Sun, it would take 7 months to go round once. The
Sun is like a nuclear reactor in the middle. This makes it very hot and bright.
The surface is hot enough to melt anything.
