Gujarat Secondary and higher education board(GSEB) is very popular board in the state and formed in the year 1960. It is mainly responsible for conducting examinations, providing textbooks to all schools and colleges in Gujarat State. The GSEB mainly conducts 2 mains examinations. One is SSC for 10th Class standard students and the second one is HSC for both XI-XII students in the state. Along with the board also conducts competitive tests to examine Talent for candidates of VIII & IX Std in five major subjects every year. Recently, the education board GSEB has changed State level examination like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) into GUJCET.
